This is the first book I’ve read in the Garden Squad series, but I plan to go back and read the previous books. While a rather long book, there were lots of things going on that kept my attention. There were a lot of characters and I would have to stop at times to think about who was the current focus. And though a lot of characters, they were well developed and I developed strong feelings about them. The murder mystery was handled well and I loved how I didn’t figure it until the end. I enjoyed seeing the relationships between characters as well as new ones developing.
