Ahhhh. I have such a wonderful feeling when I pick up a book by Lindsay Harrel. I know I will be taken into a delightful story that will have me emotionally invested in the characters. Once again the author has taken us to Port Willis on the coast of Cornwell, England. I want to visit this town if I can’t actually move there to live among the amazing characters.
This was definitely a book of love and healing and the ability for Sarah to discover how strong an individual she is, to realize that she is a wonderful person and can make her own decisions. The way she grows throughout the pages is touching. And how her faith in God and her ability to love grows is moving. When you add in Michael, the local photographer, and the way his relationship with Sarah develops, your heart just aches. I wanted to rush to Port Willis to encourage Michael to not give up.
Thank you to NetGalley and Blue Aster Press for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own. I can’t wait to return to this little coastal town and learn more about other characters. I am a huge fan and love Lindsay Harrel’s gift with words.
