There were too many characters to keep track of as I cruised through the pages of this book. And the two inseparable sisters’ motivation took too long to discover. I am to the point where I am being very picky about my psychological thrillers. I guess I’ve read enough that my preference is for one that really has me gasping in shock. And, unfortunately, this one didn’t quite get there.
There are some twists and turns but it wasn’t mind blowing. So, if you have nothing better to do during the coronavirus, then this is definitely worth picking up. It’s an okay read and not boring.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
