I have to say that I wasn’t sure I would like this book when it first started. But the more I read, the more I was draw into the book. I can’t say that it is one the best books I’ve ever read (listened to), but it did have some redeeming moments.
I have wanted to read an Al Roker book for several years and when the opportunity to listen to this book through Libby, I jumped on it. Al Roker was a wonderful narrator and he did a great job of changing voices and accents. There were lots of deaths and mysteries that surrounded Billy Blessing. And you were left wondering when the next shoe would drop.
The end has a wonderful twist that brings satisfaction to the reader. Not sure if I’ll read (or listen to) the next book, but there is the possibility that I’ll take a chance on it.
