This was a nice addition to the “Flower Shop Mystery” series. Quincy McKay makes me laugh out loud. And I love Alex Cooper. While he’s a right good looking fella, it seems he also has integrity. He evidently really loves Quincy and her insecurities set her up for doubting his commitment to their relationship. And when you factor in K. C. and her quirky personality and sense of humor, you are set for lots of laughs.
This was a perfect example of mean girls to the nth degree. Luckily K. C. is around to help diffuse some of the anger between the bridesmaids. You will have suspicions about who is the guilty one in the murder mystery game, but are things really as they seem? Is it just a game … or is someone taking the murder mystery game too far?
I’m looking forward to getting back to the Flower Shop and the next adventure with Quincy, Alex, and K. C. Hopefully Quincy and Alex can find their way down the aisle and become husband and wife. It will be interesting to see how things progress with their relationship and how Quincy’s attempt at a new attitude will enable her to finally trust Alex and find herself walking down the aisle!
Thank you to the author for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
