Loved this audio book. The twists at the end were wonderfully designed. You really had no idea what was going to happen.
While I got irritated with the main character, Eric Parrish, and especially his ex-wife’s sudden pain-in-the-butt treatment of her ex part of the way into the book, things did gradually improve and I ended up being sucked into the drama.
Don’t know if I would have stuck with the book if I had read the paper version, but the audio book kept me interested enough that I didn’t give up. I typically enjoy Lisa Scottoline books, so was looking forward to “reading” this one as a stand alone novel.
This book definitely proves that mental illness comes in all shapes and sizes!
